Summer in the city can be hot and humid, but there are places in Amsterdam where you can cool down whilst enjoying some good food and drinks. Like the Vondeltuin (the Vondel garden), that is opened daily from 11 in the morning till late at night. During the day order a salad or a sandwich freshly made on the spot. At night the Vondeltuin serves tapas and fresh pasta dishes.

Relax and enjoy
The cosy garden of the Vondeltuin is situated at the south end of the Vondelpark. It is especially nice here at night when the flaming torches give the garden a magical feel.

The Vondeltuin loves sunny weather and therefore only opens from
1 March to 1 October from 11.00
The rest of the year the Vondeltuin is closed.
