Keukenhof

The Keukenhof, open from March till May, is a real spring garden where you can admire the blooming of the most beautiful tulips, hyacinths and daffodils. The rest of the year the gardens of the Keukenhof are closed to the public while the staff is working hard to prepare for next year’s spring display. In the beautiful landscaped gardens you will find over 7 million blooming flowers such as Crocuses, lilies and other bulbous plants. In addition, the flower fields form the backdrop for more than 100 works of art and as if that were not enough, the park also hosts 30 inspirational flower shows and 7 amazing gardens.

Whisper boats

Bring your walking shoes with you when visiting the Keukenhof as the gardens hiking trails are 15 kilometers long. Would you rather enjoy the beautiful scenery sitting down? Then make a boat trip on a whisper boat. The whisper boats are old boats with a flat bottom that are driven by electric motors. They sail quiet, environment-friendly and virtually silent through the shallow streams of the gorgeous countryside surrounding the Keukenhof.
