Bakkerswinkel

The Bakkerswinkel (The Bakery) is the ideal place for a good breakfast if you’re in the mood for a piece of brioche with homemade jam or if you’re in need of an anti-hangover breakfast of (organic) eggs with bacon and strong coffee. But there’s more to enjoy at this bakery, so relax and enjoy a long lunch or munch away on a high tea with scones and their delicious tarts.

Cake shop

The Bakkerswinkel has multiple locations, one in the Polonceaukade on the Westergasterrein and one located in the Roelof Hartstraat in the Museum Quarter. Both these lunchrooms have a take-away/cake shop just down the road where you can get your supplies for the day. So if you can’t get enough of the delightful cakes made with lots of butter, sugar and eggs? Then take a look at the cakes shop on the Roelof Hartstraat where the kitchen brigade is working right in the middle of the shop.
