ADE 2015: don’t miss out on these parties at the Amsterdam Dance Event!

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the leading electronic music platform and the biggest club festival in the world for the whole spectrum of electronic sub-genres. So if you like clubbing, this festival is a must visit! There are three different parts of the Amsterdam Dance Event, make sure you visit the right one for you, because some parts are only for people from the (electronic) music industry.

The ADE Festival features in 2015 300 events and 2000 DJ’s over five days in 80 clubs and venues, which together combine to make Amsterdam one of the busiest and most inspiring clubbing cities in the world. The program features the biggest artists on the planet alongside fresh, upcoming talent and everything in between. Every year the ADE Festival attracts 350,000 festival visitors from around the globe and is truly the biggest international club festival covering the whole spectrum of electronic sub-genres. Everyone can visit the parties, as long as you buy the necessary tickets. Make sure you check the program as soon as possible, because it’s likely that the best parties sell out early!

Playground

ADE Playground can be found anywhere and everywhere in the city centre of Amsterdam during the ADE. It is a unique, dance-related lifestyle program offering five days of film screenings, music hardware presentations, art shows and exhibitions, exclusive fashion offers, interactive talk shows, promotional activities and pop-up musical performances at 25 creative hotspots around the city, including roof-top terraces, clothing shops, and art galleries, as well as outdoor exhibitions and cinemas. Entrance to this program is often free, and therefor perfect for late deciders!

ADE’s multiple conference streams connect the worldwide music industry, offering the ultimate annual business and inspiration platform in the field of electronic music. Divided into six themed programs, ADE’s comprehensive conference covers every aspect of the modern music industry, featuring dedicated programming for business professionals, start-ups, aspiring producers and also for musicians, students, VJs, visual artists and stage designers. The programs also features in-depth expertise and insight into the harder music genres, the relationship between music and technology, and sustainable, ecologically responsible practices for the global dance music industry. Entrance is often invite-only or accessible with a conference pass. You buy the pass in advance.

Wednesday October 14th, 2015 

Wednesday is the opening night, so make sure you visit one of the biggest parties out there. Nicky Romeo is back in the Melkweg with his innovative Protocol event. For this night he will invite some good friends to join him on stage for the première of a brand new show with mind-blowing visuals. The full line-up will be announced soon, but make sure you keep an eye on the night.

In the Heineken Music Hall, another famous Dutch DJ -2013 and 2014’s number one dj of the world voted by DJ Magazine’s annual Top 100- Hardwell, is hosting his Imprint night. Dutch DJ/producer Hardwell presented his very own imprint Revealed Recordings in 2010. The young house sensation revealed a fresh and open-minded label. Next to Hardwell’s own tracks and collaborations, Revealed Recordings will also release tracks that fit the versatile sound of the label, whether that be progressive -, tech – or electro house influenced. Within a short period the label has build up a distinct label profile in todays Dance scene with a unique sound, a Revealed sound! The man himself is starring the DJ line up, among Dyro, Dannic, Thomas Newson, Kill the Buzz, Joey Dale, Julian Calor.

Second ADE day! Thursday is the day it really starts. Most club organisations hosts a night, here are the ones you cannot miss:

Awakenings is back at ADE with a quite spectacular line-up. The Gashouder at the Westergas terrain has been part of ADE since 2012 and has its place within the Dutch techno history, hence it is definitely worth a visit. ‘Mr. Awakenings’ and Drumcode boss Adam Beyer invites Alan Fitzpatrick, Dubspeeka, Dense & Pika, Ida Engberg and Luigi Madonna.

Party all night at Waterkant with 22Tracks. On October 15th the Dutch playlist website 22Tracks celebrate their six year anniversary with DJsNickV, SHMLSS, Kong, Gratts , Mr. Mendel and more.

HYTE returns to Amsterdam’s Warehouse Elementenstraat for ADE 2015. Featuring a line up of house and techno heavyweights across four consecutive nights, the industrial space will once again be transformed into an underground music mecca. Berlin favourites Pan-Pot open the warehouse doors on Thursday night alongside French trio Apollonia (Shonky, Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom) and Guti (live), with techno imprint Second State hosting the second floor.

It’s debut release broke new ground, the first Dutch-language record to be played on BBC Radio. Magnetron Music from Amsterdam is a small and innovative label, centred around a closely-knit aggregation of producers, designers and performers. On this label night Magnetron Music will be showcasing the acts internationally releasing end of 2015 and beginning of 2016. Line up: Fatima Yamaha, Rimer London, Belmer, Le Le and Falco Benz.

Barong Family was established about a year ago with an intention to give upcoming Dutch producers a platform to release their music and explore their sounds within a familiar environment. The label’s motto? Family matters. That’s what they’ve been always strongly standing for. During ADE Yellow Claw along with other fellow DJ’s and producers will mastermind the first ever Barong Family label night in Amsterdam.

KLEAR is an Amsterdam based event organization and artist agency. With only an existence of a little but more than 1 year they already had artists over such as Kaytranada, Darius, Zimmer, FKJ, Julio Bashmore, Cashmere Cat, Bondax & Bonobo. KLEAR is always looking for fresh venues, new opportunities and great innovative artists. For this special they invited the emerging Bondax with their ‘& Friends’ show. Inspired on the album they made a while ago.

Friday is probably gonna be the hardest day, because a lack of sleep and the massive amount of good parties are not a good combination. Get ready for a night full of party hopping between parties, dancing and some of the best DJs in the world.

Amsterdam Music Festival is one of the youngest parties in the scene but they booked a few of the biggest DJs in the world. During their ADE party you can expect DJs like Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Hardwell, Tiësto and many more. Make sure you buy your tickets early because this is gonna be for sure a popular party!

We don’t know much about this party yet, but Axwell & Ingrosso take over the Heineken Music Hall on Friday. Must visit for fans, they will probably bring along some friends!

Made in June is a regular in the Amsterdam nightlife. Recently she had a big hit with her song ‘YOU and I’, and during ADE she takes over the NYX during Early Rebel ADE Special by Made in June. Early Rebel is a brand new concept by Made in June that will connect different styles of house music in one night. Expect The HIM, Oliver Twizt, Made in June, Kriss-One, Flamboyant and Mikey Biemans.

Tonight Voyage Direct teams up with Zeezout. ZeeZout will be hosting a 4-day extravaganza during this year’s ADE and Sunday is the last event. Tonight a collaboration with Tom Trago.
