Bitterzoet

You never really know beforehand what to expect in Bitterzoet, except that it will be full of people ready to party. From funk and soul to ska, indierock or hiphop, Bitterzoet is not limiting its programming to a particular type of musical style. Besides DJ’s, you’ll find live bands performing, frequently up-and-coming ones, often programmed in collaboration with Amsterdam pop temple Paradiso.

Intimate concert hall

The not too big concert hall of Bitterzoet provides an intimate atmosphere that will make you really feel connected with the concert and the music. And smokers are well off here as well, as the lounge at the end of the balcony has nice lounge chairs where you can chill and light one or catch up as the music is not as loud here, making it perfect to strike up a conversation.
