Studio K

Studio K is special: it is a movie theater, bar, restaurant and a club all in one. The cooks preferably work with sustainable and organic products, serving a diverse menu with tasty options for the vegetarians among us. But what Studio/K makes really special is that they allow you to bring your plate of food into the movie theater.

Never a dull moment

Students run the show Studio K is run completely by 50 students who do everything. Sound familiar? True, they are connected to that other theater in Amsterdam that is run by students: Kriterion. The programming is diverse; expect smaller Hollywood films that are combined with not-too-difficult art-house movies. Studio/K offers you the chance to have a nice lunch and grab an afternoon movie or dance the night away at one of their club nights. And if you’re not into a film at all, just grab some beers at the cosy cafe and play along with the pub quiz that is organised regularly.
