Kriterion

Kriterion was founded right after the Second World War as a way for students to earn money so they wouldn’t have to depend on their parents. Today Kriterion is still completely run by students, and their approach is something different than how traditional companies are run: everyone is considered equal with no room for hierarchy.

Movie theatre and café

Kriterion is a movie theater with a cafe that you can also visit without going to see a movie, a concept that made it an instant success. The programming primarily consists of art house movies and its foyer is a very popular spot for students and locals because of the low prices and nice atmosphere. So even when you don’t fancy going to the movies during your holiday, Kriterion can still be a place to visit and enjoy on of the nice beers they have on the menu.
