Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam

Located on the lively Leidseplein, the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam is a very interesting building, especially since the last renovation. The main hall is very big with a baroque atmosphere including red velvet and gold decorations. The new second hall is more modern and minimalistic and is perfect for programs other than classic theatre. The programming of the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam includes plays from the house company Toneelgroep Amsterdam, but you can also participate in debates or join the singles of Amsterdam on special single-nights.
