Noordermarkt Farmers Market

Every Saturday from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon, an organic farmers market occupies the Noordermarkt, in the heart of neighborhood the Jordaan. Farmers markets are quite common today, but back in 1987 the Noordermarkt Farmers Market was the first in the Netherlands selling locally produced organic food. Everything is fresh

You will find everything you need at the Noordermarkt Farmers Market: freshly baked bread, tasty vegetables, fresh milk, lamb beef and any type of cheese you could ever want. Lots of it locally produced and always organic. But be aware: after you’ve tasted these products you might never want to visit your local supermarket again!
