Koffiehuis van den Volksbond (Coffee house of the people) was the place where workers used to come and drink free coffee. This coffee was offered by their employers in a bid to keep the men from drinking alcohol. Today you can still drink coffee here, but you drink it after you are done eating. Koffiehuis van den Volksbond has turned into a restaurant with only the sign above the door reminding of times gone by. They cook here with fresh products only and the menu holds something for every taste.
