Eye Film Museum

Look north when arriving at Amsterdam Central Station and the first thing you’ll see is the intriguing building that houses EYE Film Institute Netherlands. EYE is both a movie theater and a museum. EYE’s collection reflects the most important aspects of film history: from silent movies to the newest digital productions, and from film posters to a film music collection.

Watch Dutch movies (with subtitles)

Besides a museum, EYE is also a movie theater. Here, they show Dutch movies and lots of classics that are often connected to special monthly theme programs or the current exhibition. EYE has a special program for English speaking inhabitants and visitors called Dutch Movies English Subtitles. Gems from Dutch film history, both old and new, are shown with English subtitles.
