Bag Museum Hendrikje displays the largest collection of bags worldwide that covers 500 years of history. Anything from a goat leather bag from the 16th century to schoolbags and handbags from famous designers and fashion houses such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Hermès. Admire the beautiful pieces and also learn something about the history of the bag. How where they made? How did the emancipation of women influence the design of bags? And learn more about the famous women wearing the displayed bags.

Not so mobile?
Bag Museum Hendrikje is well accessible to disabled persons, with the exception of the shopping area. However, the staff are more than willing to help you down the stairs (only two steps). The museum has an elevator and you find toilet for disabled on the ground floor.
