As cinema The Movies, movie theater The Uitkijk also claims it’s the oldest movie theater of The Netherlands. Without settling this dispute, we can tell you that the history of the structure is still present and you’ll get a feel of the avant-garde Parisian theaters of the olden days, as this was the main inspiration for the building’s architect. Today, it is run entirely by students who do everything from serving you drinks in the cosy and stylish foyer that breathes the 20s to operating the projectors.
