In 2003 Amsterdam got introduced to Jimmy Woo, a wealthy business man and Kungfu master from Hong Kong that was planning to open a new club in the centre of Amsterdam. Jimmy turned out to be a hoax, but the club was not. Since then, Jimmy Woo has gotten famous for its exclusive club nights. The club is divided between an upstairs lounge and a downstairs dance floor, with a ceiling that is completely covered with light bulbs.
